I work with so many clients who move to Florida from out-of-state and come to me for furniture refinishing. The Florida-Coastal refinishing of furniture is my specialty! All pieces are uniquely chalk painted, tastefully distressed, and sealed with a protective wax coating!
I find rare furniture pieces and bring them to life... and refresh many happy customers' furniture to match their style needs.
My Approach to Your Furniture
There is no project too BIG or too small for me. I'll meet with you and determine what you envision.
My process, once we’ve decided on the color for the piece is:
- I lightly sand the furniture piece and look for any imperfections... or I'll completely sand the top surface of the piece if that’s what you want.
- I use only the best products like Murphy’s Oil Soap and give your furniture a deep cleaning inside and out.
- Then I apply 2-3 coats of the desired chalk paint color with distressing. I use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
- At this point, I’ll use a protective wax application to seal the chalk paint or if I'm staining the piece, we can discuss your finishing preference.
You will be so pleased at the end result and won’t believe it’s the same furniture with an updated look!
